I have a 2005 ford freestyle se with a code 340 camshaft ... from ww2.justanswer.com Could be in the wiring, then, for those 2 sensors. There is an separate internal wiring diagram for the relay board. Note that the external wiring diagram in this sensors and wiring section is entirely separate from, though similar to, the relay board.
Again with a wiring diagram, locate the ground strap used by the camshaft position sensor.
All this variety might make you think that testing them is difficult and/or impossible. In this circuit pir (passive infrared ) sensor is used which is used as motion detector. It has an orange and a white wire. Does anyone know if reprogramming the pcm is required if i grab one out of the junk yard?
